BUMP FESTIVAL 2025Road Works program by BUMP Festival is a public art initiative that transforms concrete traffic barriers into mobile artworks across Calgary. Created as part of a series of painted barriers, the piece explores how art can exist within everyday infrastructure.
Mural Mentorship Program
Rachel Lyon - Calgary Fall Home Show 2025Participated in the mentorship program with Rachel Lyon Design Co., expanding her practice through hands-on mural production, collaborative learning, and professional development. Working alongside a cohort of artists, Liss refined his approach to translating concepts into large-scale works while gaining insight into the technical, logistical, and business aspects of public art.

Arts Commons, RBC Emerging ArtistThe illustration series, The Dance of the Seasons, was featured in the I Speak Art III exhibition at Arts Commons in Calgary. Presented by the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI), this collection uses the cyclical beauty of the seasons to celebrate the strength and joy found in the newcomer experience.
Sitting Pretty Project
Downtown Calgary AssociationAs part of the 2021 Sitting Pretty revitalization project, Liss collaborated with the Downtown Calgary Association to enhance the city's public spaces. By applying their distinct aesthetic to two Adirondack chairs, Liss helped turn high-traffic pedestrian areas into welcoming, colourful retreats, fostering a sense of community and artistic discovery in the heart of Calgary.
Northeast Mini Galleries
Calgary Arts DevelopmentIn 2025, Liss was selected to participate in the Northeast Mini Galleries program, a public art initiative managed by Calgary Arts Development. Displayed within a series of micro-gallery cases across Northeast Calgary, Liss’s work was part of a curated exhibition designed to bring high-quality contemporary art into everyday community spaces. This project highlights Liss’s ability to adapt their practice to unique, non-traditional gallery formats.
